The PwC Dispute Analysis and Investigations (DAI) team has the necessary skills to perform complex investigations relating to fraud and forensic accounting. We work for the shareholders, management and other interested parties
(e.g. banks or other creditors), helping them find fast and optimum solutions in critical situations.

We also have wide experience in solving disputes. We are particularly successful in dealing with problems which could have both legal and financial implications.

The services offered by our DAI team include:

• investigations of fraud, embezzlement and other types of economic crime, accounting offences, corruption and “money laundering”
• forensic due diligence in connection with acquisitions
• reviews of internal controls preventing fraud, in order to implement proper risk management at the company
• supporting Clients in matters which require analysis, quantification and legal opinions; assistance in mediation, arbitrage proceedings and court hearings relating to acquisitions and closing balances, disputes resulting from breach of contracts and guarantees in connection with construction projects, lost profits, negligence of business obligations
