Piotr Urban

Piotr Urban is the Partner in the Assurance and Advisory Services Department.

Piotr has thirteen years of experience in PwC. He is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant in Great Britain (ACCA), Poland (KIBR) and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States of North America (CPA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Piotr has experience in auditing financial statements according to Polish, international and U.S. accounting standards for companies in the electricity and gas sector, manufacturing, mining, telecommunications, service and many others sectors.

He is the managing partner of the team on audit of internal control systems and internal audit in Poland and the Baltic countries. He manages a team of over 50 professionals in four offices of PwC in Poland, mainly in Warsaw and Kraków. He supports clients in the optimization of internal control, security and implementation IT systems audit.

Piotr is also a specialist at PwC in the U.S accounting standards (US GAAP) and internal control over financial reporting. He conducts trainings on internal controls for PwC employees and PwC clients in Poland and Central Europe.
