Typically our assignments and assistance focuses on the following key areas:

Computer Forensics
  • Acquiring images of hard drives and digital media (e.g. DVD, USB drives, memory cards from mobile devices such as mobile telephones, blackberries, SIM cards and the devices themselves), collecting email and other electronic documents (including recovering the deleted ones) in order to prepare the electronic evidence for further analysis and to present the forensically acquired material (meaning using non-invasive methods) for potential court case.

Documents and Email Analysis (Electronic Discovery or E-Discovery)
  • This process consists of comprehensive acquisition of collection of electronic data from all available sources such as electronic media (e.g. hard drives, etc.), electronic mail files, including scanned and electronically recognized paper documents (using OCR tools). Furthermore the process enables the investigative team to quickly and efficiently search through documents, emails and their attachments using keywords, without opening and reading each email file as well as determining which documents are responsive to a disclosure or a regulator’s order and making those documents available for Clients or lawyers to review online

Data analysis and Data Mining
  • Sifting through vast volumes of transactions in financial or ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics, Symfonia) and performing sophisticated data analytics to look for suspicious fraudulent transactions, disclosing unclear data entries, data anomalies or control weaknesses

Business intelligence
  • We gather information from various sources, including publicly available records, paid information portals and internal company information. It helps us to quickly understand complex scenarios and volumes of seemingly unrelated data, to identify potential cases of conflict of interest, unusual or unexpected relationships between business entities and individuals. In the end with the use of specialized software we are able to communicate the results in easy-to understand visual representations
