Net piracy costs Polish economy millions

The GDP losses caused by video piracy on the Internet are estimated at approximately PLN 700 million per year, and in 2018 this figure may reach twice the budget of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. This is the first attempt to estimate the effect of media piracy on the Polish economy.
