10/12/16

PwC Legal advised Skanska Group in a comprehensive project in relation to establishment of an investment fund manager and obtainment of KNF’s permit to conduct activities related to establishment and management of investment funds

Skanska TFI is the first investment fund manager created exclusively for the property market, the aim of which is to manage development of real estate projects which are direct investments of closed-end investment fund. The sole participants in the fund will be entities from the Skanska Group. On 4th October 2016 Financial Supervision Authority granted unanimously Skanska TFI permit to carry out business activities as an investment fund manager and to manage alternative investment funds.

It was a pioneering project for capital and property market. PwC in addition to comprehensive legal services, rendered to Skanska Group also advisory services with regard to taxes, accounting, finances, risk management and compliance.

We are thankful to the team for their engagement and innovative approach to the project. The project was led by Mateusz Ordyk (PwC Legal), engaged among others were Wojciech Grabowski (PwC Legal) and Henryk Tylak (RAS, manager responsible for services rendered to financial institutions). The work was oversaw by Jacek Pawłowski, the head of PwC Legal.
