George Johnstone is a partner and a former Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Poland (2004-2009).

George has worked for PwC since 1976. He is an UK Chartered Accountant having started his career with PwC in Newcastle and moving to London where he became a partner in the firm. His most recent assignment has been as regional leader for our services to the retail and consumer products sectors, based in Budapest, which he combined with oversight responsibility for our assurance practice in former Yugoslavia. George was previously in Poland from 1995 to 1999 when he worked with a wide range of Polish businesses and led our Consumer and Industrial Products Group. As well as having a wide range of assurance and advisory roles, George has also had a particular involvement in business process outsourcing contract management and establishing shared services operations, many of which projects resulted in companies relocating their activities to Poland.

George Johnstone is married, in his leisure time he enjoys skiing, cycling, sailing and walking.
