Iwona Smith is a Managing Partner in Tax Department.

She has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax Department in Warsaw since 1995. She specialises in advising the companies from the energy, real estate and leasing sectors.

During her work with PwC Iwona has been engaged in numerous privatisation projects - e.g. in the fuel / energy sector. She has advised on significant greenfield projects and during due diligence reviews Iwona Smith engaged in numerous projects, which involved tax planning, sharing her knowledge and experience in structuring of transactions, tax analysis of the investments and review of the tax assumptions in financial models.

Additionally to her role as the Polish Tax Leader Iwona became the regional coordinator supporting PwC Tax practices in Baltic States - Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Iwona is involved in numerous activities concerning corporate social responsibility - she is a President of Board in PricewaterhouseCoopers Foundation "Podaruj siebie".
