Łukasz Bystrzyński is a partner in PwC's Advisory Division.

Łukasz BystrzyńskiŁukasz Bystrzyński is the leader of Financial Services Advisory Group at PwC in Poland, which focuses on risk management, compliance and growth strategies. He has worked with the biggest multinational financial groups in Poland in the CEE region in the area of preparing and implementing solutions related to Basel II (incl. integrated risk and capital management), risk management (market risk and credit risk - including IAS39 impairment methodology) and retail banking strategies. He has also performed numerous risk management reviews (market and credit risk - incl. complex design and implementation of rating systems) for clients representing non-financial sectors (telecommunications, mining, food and food-processing and energy). He was involved in a project managed for a multinational chemical concern (implementation of US GAAP financial reporting standards in the area of financial instruments). Between 1997 and 1999 he worked at PwC New York office, where he was involved in advising global financial Wall Street groups: J.P. Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank and others.
 

Łukasz has graduated from School of Management at the State University of New York, Buffalo.
