Mariusz Ignatowicz acts as CEE Regional Pharma Tax Leader on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mariusz is a tax Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers Warsaw office. He has been with the firm since 1995.

As the Pharma Tax Leader for CEE region, he has significant experience in tax planning for clients from the pharmaceutical sector and has been actively involved in a number of relevant international projects.

Mariusz Ignatowicz has specialized in advising pharmaceutical clients operating in Poland for a dozen years. He is currently responsible for over 20 pharmaceutical clients operating in the region. He has been advising overwhelming majority of pharmaceutical MNCs present on CEE markets on such critical issues as: tax efficient financing of companies subject to local statutory pricing control mechanisms, optimisation of tax costs of promotional expenditures, tax effective structuring of clinical trials monitoring services etc. He also has professional expertise in strategic tax optimisation for multinational pharmaceutical corporations operating in Central and Eastern Europe, both from an inbound and outbound perspective. He is a certified tax advisor and holds master’s degree in law.
