Steve Moriyama is a Regional Lead Partner in CEE/CIS Japanese Business Practice and a Tax Partner in PwC Poland

Steve started his career with PW London Head Office and enjoyed rich apprenticeship experience working on a number of UK audit clients for the first three years. He then moved to UK National Tax group where he worked on a mixture of UK and Japanese clients, and in 1996 he transferred to PwC Brussels with a mission to establish Japanese Business Development Group. Since then, he has successfully quadrupled the revenue from his Japanese clients in Brussels. With the proven track record under his belt, he has decided to transfer to PwC Eastern Europe to start up CEE/CIS Japanese Business Practice managing both Japanese and European professionals who are focused on serving Japanese clients in the region, effective from 1 Octover 2005.

Steve is a UK Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), a Belgian Chartered Tax Consultant (IAB) and a Japanese Chartered Management Analyst (CMA). He holds a BA (economics) from Keio University (Japan) and an MBA from Katholieke Leuven Universiteit (Belgium). He also completed an advanced management program at Harvard Business School, Boston. Steve is also a fairly well-known author of 8 books on business affairs and cross-cultural communication in Japan and China. Steve is a globetrotter and has visited more than 60 countries.
