The European Forum for New Ideas

View this page in: Polski The European Forum for New Ideas is organised on the occasion of Polish Presidency of the European Union by Polish Confederation of Private Employers "Lewiatan".

The Forum will seek solutions for the pressing economic and civilization problems that Europe and the world are facing today. Organisers would like the debates to evolve around the familiar challenges that have been disregarded to date, as well as the new issues that have emerged during the global financial crisis; rapid growth of Asia and Latin America, arising of new centres of economic growth, the failure of global initiatives related to climate protection and trade liberalisation and the development of new technologies.

PwC is a Partner of the Forum and Main Partner of the one of the plenary session - "Capitalism After the Crisis". We have invited Mike Kubena, CEO for CEE, to represent PwC in this session.

Special guest of the Forum will be: Oliver E. Williamson, 2009 Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics.

More detailed information and the agenda of the event are available at the Forum's website.
