Techworld has come up with a list of UK companies that already implement drones in their day to day business. According to Juniper Research, drone sales are forecasted to double this year compared with 2015. The growth is expected to be stimulated by agriculture related drones, with 48% purchase coming from this sector.
From the 15 companies mentioned by Techworld, the most fascinating project was the one involving the UK government working together with NASA on a drone traffic management system. Another interesting example shown by Techworld was UAV Air and its drone flight school that organizes courses to train future drone pilots. Other notable UK companies that are developing their drone services are Royal Mail that delivers its mail or Shell that views its infrastructure with drones.
