The PwC Legal law firm in Poland and its lawyers honored by the Rzeczpospolita in the newest Law Firm Ranking

In the Law Firm Ranking 2019 (Ranking Kancelarii Prawniczych 2019) organized by the Rzeczpospolita daily, the PwC Legal law firm has been awarded as a leading practice in Poland in the Company Law& Commercial Law and Private client advice categories. Additionally, the firm received a recommendation in the Personal data protection category, and the following lawyers of the law firm were awarded individual distinctions – Jacek Pawłowski as a leader for legal advice for private clients, and Arwid Mednis in the field of personal data protection.

This is the 17th time the Rzeczpospolita daily has organized the Law Firm Ranking, granting awards and distinctions to the best and largest law firms in Poland.

In this year’s edition of the ranking, PwC Legal in Poland has received 4 distinctions in total. The law firm has been recognized as a leading practice in Poland in the Company Law & Commercial Law and Private client advice categories. Additionally, the firm received a recommendation in the Personal data protection category, and two lawyers of the law firm have were awarded individual distinctions (as leaders in their practices), namely: Jacek Pawłowski, PwC partner, in the field of legal advice for private clients, and Arwid Mednis for his practice in the field of personal data protection.
 

The awards in the Rzeczpospolita daily ranking are yet another distinction received this year by PwC Legal in Poland. In this year’s Legal 500 EMEA 2019 ranking, PwC Legal in Poland has been recommended in 4 categories: Commercial, Corporate and M&A, Banking and Finance, Investment Funds and in the Dispute Resolution category, in which an individual distinction has been awarded to attorney Stanisław Żemojtel. In turn, in the Chambers Europe 2019 ranking, the law firm has been selected as a Recognized Practitioner in the TMT category, while three lawyers from the law firm, namely: Arwid Mednis, Gerard Karp and Jean Rossi, have received individual recommendations in the field of personal data protection, TMT and property law.
