Webinar: Financial and PR impact of the new CIT developments in Poland

24th April at 10:00 am CEST | Archival recording

Major direct tax changes are already implemented and impacting taxpayers financially

We will discuss the practical developments in terms of current positions of the tax authorities as well as actions undertaken to limit this burden.

However, beside financial consequences, in the drive towards tax transparency, Poland also intends to make the public aware of direct tax payments made by largest corporations for the past 5 years. Publishing this type of raw data by the Ministry of Finance may also impact the perception of your business activity in Poland as a whole.

That is why during the webinar we will discuss both the financial and non-financial impact of the current developments in Poland in two sections:

 Tax impact:

  • discuss the most recent practice in terms of key CIT measures implemented in FY18
  • present their impact and potential mitigation strategies employed by the market

Perception impact:

  • review plans of the MF with respect to the tax transparency issue in Poland
  • inform on forthcoming publications of tax results of major Polish taxpayers for last five FYs
  • comment on potential risks PR resulting from discretionary publication of tax results of taxpayers
  • go through possible actions to mitigate the said risks
  • show how to take the winning position out from the expected 'red ink'

Webinar will be conducted in English by:

  • Marcin Zawadzki
  • Marcin Jaworski

The event is free of charge. A link to the webinar will be sent to the email address provided in registration. Registration will be close on 23 April.
