Aleksandra Bańkowska is a counsel responsible for the banking practice at PwC Legal.

She specializes in regulatory issues connected with the establishment of banks, transformations of banks into branches of credit institutions, mergers and acquisitions of banks and connected thereto proceedings before the Financial Supervision Commission.

Her experience includes advising in domestic and cross-border finance transactions. Aleksandra has represented both banks and borrowers.

Moreover her experience extends to banking outsourcing issues, drafting outsourcing agreements and other required documentation, as well as in advising banks in connection with applications for permits from the Financial Supervision Commission to enter into outsourcing agreements.

Aleksandra Bańkowska is an advocate. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University. Within the framework of the Socrates-Erasmus Program, she attended Cardiff University, where she was awarded a Diploma in Legal Studies. She also graduated from British and European Law Centre at the Warsaw University.

Before joining PwC Legal, Aleksandra worked for over 7 years at the Warsaw office of one of the world's largest international law firms. She also gained valuable experience during one year secondment to European Investment Bank in Luxemburg.
