Julia Olszewska

Julia is a final-year trainee Attorney and Senior Associate in the IP / IT, Data Protection and Consumer Protection team at PwC Legal Poland with over 4 years of professional experience in data protection and privacy.

Her area of expertise mainly focuses on privacy and data protection. Julia has provided legal services to a wide range of entities in various business sectors, including pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, international e-commerce networks, IT software contractors, media groups and private universities.

She has also participated in the projects requiring comprehensive analysis of the processing activities performed by business entities and preparation of the DPIAs.

Julia is experienced in handling complex data protection violations, conducting legal risk analyses related to the breach and conducting follow-up communications with the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection in connection with the reported breach.

Julia is also a co-author of a publication on complex handling of cross-border data protection breaches published in a prestigious trade magazine and a member of the Association of Data Protection Practitioners.
