The Australian Centre of Field Robotics has decided to create an all-terrain robot vehicle platform, that can easily move around all kind of fields as also patrol the vast farmlands of the Australian countryside. Moreover, the device aims to be able to work closely with a drone together. Thus, in other words, the final goal is to be able to replace cowboy’s and farmers one day.

Today, we can already watch the first robot on YouTube. As for now, the Centre has created a weird looking tall robot with huge wheels, that drives around a farm where no humans can be seen. Despite the bright future ahead, the video is looking rather scary then fascinating. On the other hand, together with drones this invention could revolutionise farming.
