Twitters live streaming app called Periscope has just added three new functions out of which one happens to be a drone integration option. The apps main purpose is to broadcast one’s personal videos. The app was bought in March 2015 for $100m USD by twitter who has officially relaunched the app again in March 2016. With the new add in, users can easily add the drone through the app and then broadcast by switching between front / back facing phone cameras, a GoPro and a drone. Furthermore, the app allows narration and sketching over the footage. The new function could be the next breakthrough in building a live social network, allowing to capture an experience from all angles.
