PwC Legal advised Goldbeck Group on acquisition of Comfort S.A.
At the end of September 2017 acquisition of Polish company Comfort S.A., a manufacturer of prefabricated concrete elements, by Goldbeck Group, one of the leading entities of the German construction sector, was completed. PwC Legal advised Goldbeck Group in the acquisition process.
Comfort S.A. is the second biggest Polish manufacturer of prefabricated concrete elements. Goldbeck is the family-owned enterprise dealing with construction of commercial facilities, buildings renovation and management as well as implementation of public-private partnership projects. Comfort S.A. is the first acquisition of a Polish company by Goldbeck, which is present in several European markets and hires more than 5,000 employees.
The scope of PwC Legal’s services covered all stages of the transaction, including the due diligence process, preparation and negotiation of the transactional documentation and advising in proceedings at the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection regarding the clearance for the transaction.
