PwC Poland, Airbus Poland, Cleanproject and SatRevolution to start a unique aerospace startup acceleration program – Future Space Accelerator

Four top market leaders: Airbus Poland, Cleanproject, SatRevolution and PwC Polska, as the operator of the program, have opened the first edition of a unique aerospace startup acceleration programme called - Future Space Accelerator. The aim of this project is to support companies offering technological space innovations with their business models and match them with potential international investors, business partners and future clients.

Future Space Accelerator is a unique aerospace startup acceleration programme in which startups and programme partners speed up the transformation of innovative ideas into valuable business.

Future Space Accelerator provides startup founders with the support they need to grow their business, matching them with the world’s most influential market players and their cutting-edge technologies.

Manuel Heredia Ortiz, President of Airbus Poland

PwC will act as a programme operator, supporting startups and industry players in establishing long-term collaboration.

We believe in cooperation between corporates and startups and have demonstrated this numerous times. However, Future Space Accelerator is something completely original and different: we will be a part of technological advancements, bringing us closer to expanding our world into outer space.

Jolanta Kokosińska, Partner at PwC Poland

The project is intended for companies which offer technological space innovations, have a prototype of the product as a minimum and are willing to cooperate with at least one of the programme’s partners.

As a partner of the Future Space Accelerator programme, we are delighted to get an opportunity to work with startups, which are ready to implement their ground-breaking solutions. We hope that our cooperation will have an impact on the future of the space industry not only in Europe, but all over the world. Sky is (not) the limit!

Radosław Łapczyński, Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer of SatRevolution

The programme partners are looking for technological solutions which can be applied in the aerospace industry in general. The list of required technologies includes: nanosatellites, satellites, optoelectronics, geo-tagging, image processing and analysis, Artificial Intelligence, data science, robotics, automation systems, mechatronics and machine learning.

Future Space Accelerator is a perfect programme for sharing ideas with people from the industry. The last decade of our operations has enabled us to understand that in innovative activities, the main factors which determine the limits of a project are knowledge, experience and imagination. We are proud to work with partners who share this vision and we would like to cooperate in Future Space Accelerator to create future success stories.

Jerzy Kustra, CEO of Cleanproject

The application process ends on 16 June 2019. In August we will know the short list of startups. They will then spend the following months preparing their business cases together with Airbus, Cleanproject and SatRevolution. During this period, experts from partner companies as well as external mentors will support the startups involved in the programme. At Demo Day in December, the startups will have the opportunity to present their business cases in front of potential clients and investors.

The application form is available at www.futurespaceaccelerator.com.
