At the beginning of July 2023, 8 new people joined the group of partners of the consulting company PwC Polska. They are: Anna Bączyk (assurance), Dorota Wolna (tax advisory), Jarosław Karski (business advisory), Łukasz Głuch (assurance), Úna Barrett (Financial Crime Unit), Wojciech Trzciński (tax advisory), Marcin Malinowski (Technology, Consulting), Richard Thomas (Technology, Consulting).
Úna Barrett is new Partner in the Financial Crime Unit in PwC Poland. She has over 10 years of experience in providing consulting services to leading financial institutions in Europe, North America, and the Asia Pacific region. Her focus areas include Financial Crime Compliance and ESG Compliance. Úna works primarily with international Clients on large-scale, complex transformation engagements and was based in South East Asia for 4 years where she worked on a number of regulatory driven projects for global Financial Institutions.
Úna is a graduate from the London School of Economics and is based in PwC Poland’s Gdansk office.

Anna Bączyk joined the group of partners specializing in cooperation with financial sector clients in the Assurance department. During her professional career she was responsible for carrying out many projects related to the audit of financial statements of public interest entities, including banking capital groups. Anna was also involved in the provision of assurance services, consulting projects, including due diligence.
Her main goal for the coming years is to strengthen the growing Assurance - Financial Services department, in particular the team specializing in consulting and validation of disclosures regarding non-financial information (ESG).
Anna is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics; has the qualifications of a Polish statutory auditor (PIBR) and is a member of the British association of statutory auditors ACCA.

Łukasz Głuch became a partner in Assurance department. He has over 17 years of experience in conducting audits and performing attestation of non-financial information (ESG). He specializes in the consumer markets industry.
In 2014-15 Łukasz worked in the London office of PwC, where he provided services to clients mainly from the construction and real estate industries
He will use his experience to support clients in meeting their sustainability reporting requirements.
Łukasz is a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice. Łukasz is a certified auditor and holds the qualifications of the Polish Chartered Accountant (PIBR) and the qualifications of the British Chartered Accountant (ACCA).

Jarosław Karski is a new Partner in PwC Consulting responsible for advisory and implementation services powered by SAP solutions. He will focus on exporting SAP services and strengthening PwC ability to deliver global SAP transformation programs across multiple territories.
Jarosław has more than 20 years of experience in implementing technology solutions, joined PwC in 2018 and has helped to grow the SAP team in PwC Poland since that time. He has successfully run large Global Transformation Programs leveraging SAP technologies and PwC local capabilities to increase the effectiveness of the businesses of PwC clients.
Jarosław graduated from Poznań University of Economics. He is a graduate of executive MBA from Koźminski University.

Marcin Malinowski becomes a Partner in CTech and will continue to lead CTech’s business in CEE and western Europe (excluding UK) as well as take co-responsibility for the overall leadership of CTech.
Marcin’s focus in his new role will be to scale up existing business, liaise with CEE Advisory teams and expand geographically to do more in Western Europe and US/Canada.
Marcin joined PwC through Outbox acquisition in 2016 and brings more than 20 years of experience in the Front Office Transformation space. Marcin built a successful export business for Outbox and when joining PwC he continued selling CTech’s services to the UK and later taking over and growing a portfolio of technology projects in Western Europe and CEE. Before Outbox he worked for a global consulting organization.

Richard Thomas becomes a Partner in CTech and will continue to lead CTech’s export business to the UK as well as take joint responsibility for the overall leadership of CTech.
Richard brings to the Partnership 23 years of experience in selling and delivering complex IT Systems Integration projects in the UK, Germany and Poland. He specializes in the nearshore delivery of IT business applications that support our clients to transform their customer facing operations. He has worked extensively with clients across all industry sectors, with particular expertise in the Telecommunications and Technology sectors.
Richard studied Engineering Science at the University of Oxford before joining PwC as a graduate in London in 2000. He emigrated from the UK to Poland in 2006 to join the legacy CTech business before rejoining the Firm through the acquisition of CTech in 2016.

Wojciech Trzciński became a partner at PwC Legal. He is an experienced legal advisor specializing in transactional and corporate advisory, in particular for private clients, and advisory in the area of investment funds.
As a partner at PwC Legal, he will be responsible for the Private Clients teams (including the Private M&A practice and the Succession Planning team), Investment Funds and the Energy and Natural Resources team.
Wojciech has 18 years of experience in providing legal advice to private clients as well as Polish and international corporations. He has been associated with PwC for a total of 12 years. He is a legal adviser.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and political science at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

Dorota Wolna became a Partner in the Tax, Legal & People department of PwC Polska. She is an experienced tax advisor focused on building strong relationships with clients.
Dorota is also the leader of the interdisciplinary team for Special Economic Zones and the Polish Investment Zone at PwC Polska, advising clients on tax and business matters. She is also the leader of the internal PwC for Women program - helping women to build satisfying careers and combine various life roles.
Dorota's business specializations include: tax advisory, tax compliance and advisory for foreign investors operating in the SEZ. She is a graduate of the Poznań University of Economics and Business and is certified as a tax advisor.
