PwC Poland has become an Expertise Partner of ABSL (Association of Business Service Leaders), an organisation representing the business services sector in Poland. As an Expertise Partner, PwC Poland will support organisations associated with ABSL, particularly members of the Digital Technology and Transformation Club, with knowledge and skills aligned with the latest practices necessary to prepare for the accelerating transformation of the economy and technological development. ABSL, which brings together over 250 leading companies from the sector, plays a key role in shaping the future of business services in Poland - an industry that already employs more than 435,000 people.
ABSL focuses on promoting the business services sector and creating conditions for its development in Poland. This organisation acts as a platform for cooperation between global and local stakeholders, promoting knowledge exchange, supporting innovation, and communication.
Despite an increase in optimism about the global economic outlook, as many as 45% of CEOs surveyed in the 27th CEO Survey doubt whether their companies will survive in their current form and with current profitability over the next decade. Such sentiments of company leaders confirm that transformation is crucial in current times. Without real change, adapting to the still difficult macroeconomic situation while simultaneously adjusting companies to risks associated with technological acceleration or climate change will be very costly.
"That’s why it’s important for us to strengthen cooperation with stakeholders centred around ABSL. We treat relations with the sector of shared service centres (Global Business Services, GBS), business process outsourcing (BPO), IT outsourcing (Information Technology Outsourcing, ITO), and research and development centers (Research & Development, R&D) - all who have been actively operating in this association for years, as a priority. By becoming a substantive partner of ABSL, PwC Poland will support companies and help them adapt to such rapidly changing business reality"
