Detailed information about the grants

Ecological Credit is an instrument to support enterprises in improving energy efficiency by modernizing infrastructure.

It enables the implementation of investments in the following areas:

thermal modernization of buildings, e.g. insulation of walls, ceilings or roofs, replacement of windows, gates, doors or roof coverings, insulation of installations, modernization of heating or ventilation lines,
The amount allocated for project funding is 660 million PLN per call in two competitions planned for 2024.
changing the sources of energy used to more ecological ones. e.g. a heat pump,
replacing devices, installations or technological lines with more energy-efficient renewable energy sources, e.g. a photovoltaic installation.

The competition is addressed to micro, small, medium and large entrepreneurs (employing up to 3,000 employees).

The intensity of support depends on the type of investment, location and size of the Applicant.

Financing is provided in the form of a non-repayable subsidy as repayment of capital installments of an ecological loan.

Up to a maximum of 80% (for thermal modernization for SMEs with energy savings of 40% and meeting specific standards)
Large enterprise - a maximum of 60% co-financing.

1st recruitment: until July 25, 2024.
2nd recruitment: October 17 - December 30, 2024.

Important information

It is required to conduct an energy audit of the modernization project (cooperate with an energy auditor) and obtain a loan promise from a commercial bank.

Thermal modernization should be a basic element of the investment.

The condition for access is to achieve primary energy savings from the entire investment of at least 30%.

It is possible to purchase fixed assets (machinery, equipment, installations), materials and construction works, and energy management software.
