What is KSeF Data Tester?
PwC experts have designed a tool that will support taxpayers in their implementation of the new invoice system. KSeF Data Tester is a tool to conduct checks and tests of structured invoices. The tool will review the file for consistency, coherence and completeness of the data.
KSeF Data Tester enables the following:
- Verification of files from the technical side,
- Checking files from the aspect of data consistency (logical and mathematical correctness of data),
- Produce a test report for e-invoices under scrutiny with an overview of the test results.
KSeF Data Tester helps to assess the quality of the implementation of the KSeF solution by evaluating the final e-invoice product and reduces the risk of sending incorrect e-invoices to KSeF.
The tool is a module of the Tax & Legal IT Solutions application. Another module recommended for purchase is SAF-T Data Tester for checking the consistency of single audit files (JPK_V7, JPK_FA, JPK_KR, JPK_MAG, JPK_KR_PD, JPK_ST_KR).
Why is the correctness of e-invoices important?
The topic of e-invoices affects many aspects related to activities of companies, both financial and accounting, legal and technical. The new regulations are a real challenge in the area of technology, processes and organization. Therefore, it is worth preparing for the introduction of e-invoices in advance instead of leaving this issue for the last minute. Functionalities
Technical correctness
Checking the consistency of the submitted files with the schema structure for structured invoices. KSeF Data Tester will check whether the structured invoice file will meet the requirements of the KSeF system and be accepted by it.
Logical validation
Validation of the consistency of e-invoices with the logical structure of the file. The tool validates that the fields are consistently completed and that there are no logical data inconsistencies in the file.
Mathematical consistency
Checking the mathematical consistency of fields completed in the e-invoice. The tool verifies the consistency of the reported data on the basis of mathematical tests.
Errors report
The tool prepares a report with test results, which includes a list of errors and warnings along with a description of each of them.

Custom hero & content-free-pricing section
Changes in the hero section happen automatically; you can fill in the hero component just like
you normally do in DPE. To add a component with a price, which is on a gray background and has a border on the left
side, you need to add a Text component inside content-free-pricing section and, in the settings, go to the Styles
tab and change the text style to
“center aligned.”
To add the “Recommended” badge, in the Text component add content at the end, e.g. “Recommended,” and in the options
mark it as italic. This will ensure the badge is styled correctly.
The solution works inside the Column Control, regardless of the variant.
