The application of the standard is a challenge both for the financial departments and for the entire organization, because implementation requires the introduction of appropriate changes in operational processes and IT systems in order to collect and process relevant data, in particular in the case of entities that have a significant number of leasing contracts.
Katarzyna specializes in auditing financial statements and advising leasing companies and investment funds as well as other institutions of the capital market and the financial sector. She has theoretical and practical knowledge both in the field of Polish accounting policies and International Financial Reporting Standards. She is characterized by a very good knowledge of legal regulations and the principles of functioning of capital market institutions in Poland. She has Polish qualifications of a statutory auditor, entered in the Register of statutory auditors. She has conducted numerous training courses for both PwC employees and clients. Currently (since 2010) she is a member of the PwC technical team and specializes in servicing the financial sector and IFRS. She takes part in global discussions on changes and new IFRS standards.
