Rafał Dróbka

Rafał Dróbka is the managing partner in the Advisory Deals department at PwC Polska and Deals Platform leader - a team consisting of over 150 experts, specializing in complex transaction processes, primarily in aspects such as: mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and commercial due diligence, financial due diligence and tax due diligence, financing and restructuring as well as valuations and financial modeling.

He has several years experience in tax consulting and prior to taking up a new role as the Advisory Deals Partner, Rafał was a team leader for mergers and acquisitions in the legal and tax department, developing tax advice segment in such transactions, including advisory for private equity and corporate clients. He joined the tax department at PwC in 1998.

He led the IT Based Consulting team (tax advisor of IT systems), and was one of the authors of the project won by PwC for the Ministry of Finance ("e-Podatki"), consisting of a comprehensive tax administration reform in Poland.

Rafał advised on tax structuring of several transactions on the Polish market, including the spectacular merger of Canal+ and platform "n".
