Tomasz Konieczny is the Partner in the Assurance and Advisory Services Department.
Tomasz has over 15 years of professional experience in PwC. He is a qualified UK Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and Polish Chartered Accountant (KIBR).
Tomasz has extensive experience in auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with Polish Accounting Regulations (PAR), International Accounting Standards (IAS), U.S. accounting standards (US GAAP) and the British Accounting Standards (UK GAAP). His experience also includes preparation of the financial part of the prospectus for companies listed or companies applying for listing on the London, Warsaw and other Stock Exchanges. This experience includes the audit of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS or national rules contain numeric or descriptive reconciliation to IFRS.
From August 2000 to July 2003, Tomasz worked in the London office in the Capital Markets Section. He worked for clients whose shares or bonds were or would be listed on the London Stock Exchange or other European or American stock exchanges, or traded outside the issuer’s country. As part of his work he has led numerous projects of IFRS conversion or provided technical support to clients in the IFRS.
Tomasz is a member of the Global Capital Markets Group and oversees a team of experts on capital markets in the Assurance department in Central Europe. Additionally he is a member of the Advisory Team on Accounting (IFRS) in PwC in Central and Eastern Europe and responsible for their support on issues of IFRS.
