For all those travellers who do not enjoy to spend their holidays in a hotel room but rather go sightseeing, a new hotel concept was introduced this week that mixes both.

The futuristic drone hotel concept called Driftscape, which comes from a Toronto based office of design firm called HOK, aims to revolutionise hotel rooms. First of all, the idea assumes that each room would be a flying glass pod. The pods would be connected to a main stationary hub. If necessary, those could be detached to allow guests to fly around in a given location.

This concept would allow tourist to do their sightseeing with the use of their hotel room allowing them to fly around any location. Just imagine that one could simply get an aerial view of the fjords in Norway or the Great Wall of China.
