Drone with only one propeller

It looks like weapon of destruction but in fact it is highly developed machine, designed by company specializing in interactive and modern live performances.

Usually flying, rotor vehicles use at least 2 rotors to balance angular momentum and avoid spinning around own axis. New construction shows, that one propeller is enough. Drone can be driven with special steering rod and is able to fly in wanted direction and land safely.

"This is really to push the boundary of what you can do with flying machines" said prof. Raffaello D’Andrea from Zurich's ETH.

Great fun comes with launching it - you have to throw it like a boomerang!
