Pilot license no longer needed to fly drones in the US

New regulations concerning the use of commercial drones are coming into effect today in the United States, replacing the need for an expensive Pilot License, with a drone specific knowledge exam. First exams launch today, and over 3300 prospective pilots have already signed up. The regulations are a major milestone providing a legal framework for other countries to follow, making drone usage both accessible and legal.
