So now imagine drones without the human element

It seems that even before we have gotten used to the form of drones we know today; new ideas are already being developed in order to revolutionize the yet developing industry. It therefore seems that the next step will be to eliminate the human element from the drone and make it a autonomous flying robot.

Of course, from a pure efficiency and cost cutting view point, the idea seems incredible. The applications could be fantastic for filming, surveillance or delivery. On the other hand, the FAA regulations already are challenged with drones today. Adding the robotic perspective to it could make drones even more scary for the general public. Still, we believe that the idea of robotic drones could be the next step forward for the whole industry.
