Drones are really a “good technology”

It seems like most of the “good” news about drones is strongly associated with either Amazon or Google and the revolutionizing of the package delivery.  Despite those news being “good drones” news, they still overshadow the real progress in the industry -  an industry predicted to be worth $90 billion in a decade.

But why is it important to promote the “goodness” of drones?

Firstly, due to its military origins, drones as a technology had a vast amount of bad press.

Secondly, we believe that it is a technology that will revolutionise almost any type of business. For example, drones have the capability to help farmers predict where to use fertilizers or can help energy companies to monitor their infrastructure.

We therefore believe that good drone publicity and marketing are extremely crucial in order for the industry to grow. With societies low awareness of the technologies benefits, firms need to be sure that their project will be considered by all as a good change and receive the needed support for it.
