So who has the most drones?

It was last year when the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) required some of its drone users to register their devices. Last week the FAA released its collected information, showing where the largest number of drones has been registered.  According to the report, the highest number of drones can be found in Los Angeles county with 12,250 registered drones. The next one on the list is Arizona’s Maricopa County, where many of the aerial photography companies are based.

On the other hand, when looking at the data from a per capita perspective, the county leading the ranking is Hinsdale in Colorado with 5.2 drones for every 1,000 people (Despite the fact that only 774 people live there). This data confirms the growing consumer drone business which is believed to reach sales of $2 billion by 2024.
