The Spiderman of drones is set to make infrastructure maintenance easy

14/09/16

The Japanese drone startup Prodrone has designed a drone specifically for infrastructure maintenance targeted at civil engineers. While in recent months civil engineers have been ever more often testing drones for maintence purposes; however, their current capabilities can be limiting for the task. The large difference with this drone is that it can fly on a wall, by using sideways mounted propellers to to keep the drone planted to the wall. This makes it a much more stable drone system for the task of inspection.
