When we launched the Campaign “Send your CV - someone is waiting”, we had in mind disabled people who are in the care of Fundacja Pomocy Matematykom i Informatykom Niesprawnym Ruchowo.

The main focus of the Foundation is the professional and social rehabilitation of the physically disabled/impaired.

According to data of the Main Statistical Office, there are 5 million disabled people in Poland and only about 10% of them are active on the job market.

Our Campaign was aimed at increasing the employability of the handicapped on the job market, as well as increasing social and media awareness about jobs for the physically handicapped/impaired.

The Campaign “Send you CV - someone is waiting” lasted from May to December 2006. During the campaign, volunteers from PwC ran 16 full-day workshops for handicapped people. It comprised of: informational elements, trainings, workshops combined with a dance show of the integration pairs.

We met during the training, workshops and integration evenings. We learnt how to write a CV, letter of motivation and how to conduct oneself during an interview.

Over 3000 people throughout Poland took advantage of our advice and experience.

The whole action gained huge media coverage - 105 press articles, 40 hours on the radio and 6 hours of TV.

The campaign “Send your CV - someone is waiting” was nominated for a “Golden Paper Clips 2007” award.
